The Miller County Sheriff's Office announced in a news release that deputy Kyle Carroll was arrested on Saturday for alleged child sex crimes.
Once the Miller County Sheriff's Office was aware of the allegations, Carroll was put on administrative leave and had all law enforcement authority suspended, according to the news release.
The Miller County Sheriff's Office said they would be in cooperation with the investigators until the process is concluded.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Division of Criminal Investigation, is handling the investigation, according to the news release.
