Gov. Mike Kehoe on Friday announced two new appointments for vacant mid-Missouri county office positions.
Paul Boyd, of Columbia, was appointed as the Montgomery County prosecuting attorney. Rebbeca Minks, of Warsaw, was appointed as the Benton County treasurer.
Boyd currently serves as the violent crimes lead for the Boone County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Minks purchased and currently manages H&R Block in Warsaw.
According to previous KOMU 8 reporting, the previous Benton County treasurer resigned following child sex crime charges and pressure from Missouri's attorney general for his removal.
