The city of Osage Beach is hosting a public open house Wednesday to collect feedback and answer questions about its draft Vision Zero action plan.
The city was awarded a grant by the U.S. Department of Transportation in 2023 to develop a Safe Streets and Roads for All Action Plan, according to a news release.
Vision Zero action plans are roadmaps for cities to eliminate traffic deaths and severe injuries.
The project has been in progress since 2025, and the city said it is now ready for public feedback.
The draft plan identifies key safety corridors within the community and provides short- and long-term recommendations to improve the safety of residents, employees and visitors of Osage Beach, according to the news release.
Those who attend the open house can check out the plan recommendations, voice an opinion, ask questions and discuss the draft plan with city staff and the project team.
The event will go from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Osage Beach City Hall, 1000 City Parkway.
