A Roach, Missouri, man has been pronounced dead after he was found deceased in the water at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded to the 4-mile mark of the Little Niangua Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks for a man last seen fishing on a dock, according to a social media post from Troop F of the Highway Patrol.

Investigation determined the 82-year-old man fell into the water from a dock for an unknown reason and drowned, according to a report from the Highway Patrol.

He was recovered in approximately eight feet of water by the Mid-County Fire Protection District Dive Team and was pronounced deceased, according to the report.
