The Spring Pull – a truck and tractor pull – scheduled for this evening (May 11) at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Hillsboro has been canceled because of rainy, cool weather, the Hillsboro Community Civic Club announced.
“It’s going to be too wet and 50 degrees,” organization spokesman Mike Daugherty said. “It’s supposed to rain all day. We can’t take any more rain and let people on those fairgrounds.”
He said organizers have not decided whether the Spring Pull will be rescheduled.
“We’re going to talk about it,” Daugherty said.
