The Leader’s Musician of the Month for September is Festus High School senior Jeanna Brantley, 17.
Jeanna is in her third year as the drum major of the Marching Tigers marching band and plays trumpet in the Symphonic and Jazz bands. She is president of the Student Council and is a member of National Honor Society, Renassiance Club and TREND and works on the theater crew.
“Jeanna has served as an incredible leader for the marching band for three years,” band director Stephanie Sekelsky said. “While I’ve only worked with her a brief time, her attitude and dedication to the program is awesome.”
Musicians of the Month receive a $20 gift certificate from Tower Music and a certificate of achievement. Both may be picked up at the store.
