A River Music Festival will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Ride On St. Louis, outside the Anheuser Estate, 6008 Windsor Harbor Lane, near Kimmswick.
Admission to the family friendly event is free, but parking costs $10.
Three bands are lined up – All Roostered Up, Griffin Underground and Retro Boogie Band.
The event will include a rummage sale from noon to 3 p.m. Organizers are seeking donations for the sale and items can be dropped off at the Ride On office.
Raffles and games will be included, and kids will have the chance to ride a therapy horse.
In addition, food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Proceeds will benefit Ride on St. Louis, which offers equine therapy to people with disabilities, injuries and other challenges.
Volunteers are needed to for the music festival, to help set up, clean up or work at the event.
Ride On St. Louis also needs volunteers to lead or walk beside horses for the fall equine activities and therapies beginning Sept. 8.
In addition, volunteers are needed to help with fundraising or administrative duties, as well as to help with special projects, like gardening, cleaning, painting and maintenance.
Business, school, church and other civic groups are welcome to volunteer.
