Arnold Police are searching for a woman who allegedly stole alcohol from the Walgreens store, 3937 Vogel Road, the day after she may have been involved in a similar theft at a Walgreens in Fenton, police reported.

The woman entered the store in Arnold at about 3:25 a.m. July 4 and put numerous bottles of alcohol into a cart. She allegedly left the store without paying for the alcohol, which was valued at $174.43, the report said.

When officers arrived, they saw the woman leaving the area in a red GMC Envoy. However, the officers were not able to stop the SUV before the woman drove away, according to the report.

The same woman and vehicle were allegedly seen during a similar theft on July 3 at a Walgreens in Fenton, the report said.

As of July 10, the alcohol had not been recovered, and the woman had not been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the woman or theft to call the Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
