Arnold Police allegedly found a capsule suspected of containing fentanyl concealed by a 42-year-old St. Louis woman who had been arrested for an outstanding warrant. The capsule was found when the woman was being booked at the Police Station, police reported.

Officers were called at about 11 p.m. Feb. 21 to the Circle K gas station, 2046 Key West Drive, because a suspicious person was reportedly at the business. Officers found the woman at the gas station, and they learned she was wanted by St. Louis Police on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, the report said.

The woman was taken to the Police Station, where she was booked and searched. A red and purple capsule was allegedly found hidden on the woman’s body, according to the report.

The woman was held for the St. Louis Police, the report said.

Depending on results of the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the woman through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance in a jail facility, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
