A 45-year-old Arnold woman recently was arrested after she called police complaining that someone was carrying a gun in the Bayshore Apartment complex courtyard, Arnold Police report.
Two others also were arrested during the investigation.
The woman called Arnold Police at 12:10 p.m. April 28 and said someone was flourishing a gun at the apartment complex, but when officers arrived they found no one with a gun, said Capt. Robert Ruckman of the Arnold Police Department.
However, the woman who called to report the incident was wanted on a $7,000 bond and an outstanding warrant from Jefferson County for possession of a controlled substance, as well as an outstanding warrant from St. Louis County for failure to appear in court tied to traffic violations, Ruckman said.
In addition, the woman’s boyfriend, a 68-year-old Arnold man was arrested because he was wanted on a $4,000 bond and an outstanding warrant from Jefferson County for possession of a controlled substance, Ruckman said.
A third suspect, a 55-year-old Arnold man who lived with the person who reportedly had been carrying a gun in the courtyard, was arrested on bonds totaling $225 and outstanding warrants from Arnold for trespassing and obstruction of justice, Ruckman said.
