The rear window of a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro parked outside the Quality Inn hotel, 3610 West Outer Road, in Arnold was shattered and a garage door opener was stolen from the car. The cost to replace the window was estimated at $600, and the garage door opener was worth about $10, Arnold Police reported.
A 27-year-old Arnold man told police he parked his car outside the hotel at about 4 a.m. Jan. 8. He discovered the broken window and the garage door opener missing at about 10:10 a.m., the report said.
As of Jan. 10, the garage door opener had not been recovered and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
