The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating thefts from and damage to vehicles at Wilson Towing, 2605 Old Hwy. 141, in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton. A van and a car were damaged outside the business, and items worth an estimated $750 were stolen from the vehicles, police reported.

At about 3:30 a.m. June 21, windows were broken on a 2006 Dodge Caravan and a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant at the business. Wheels and tires were stolen from out of the van, and a radio was stolen from the car, the report said.

The cost to repair the vehicles, which belong to the business, was estimated at $400, according to the report.

As of June 30, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
