Windows were smashed on two SUVs and two pickups parked outside the Drury Inn, 3800 Hwy. 141, in Arnold. Items worth about $3,380 were stolen from one of the vehicles, Arnold Police reported.
The damage and theft occurred overnight between June 22 and June 23. The rear driver-side windows were shattered on a 2016 Nissan Rogue, 2019 Honda Pilot, 2014 Dodge Ram and 2021 Ford F-450, the report said.
The owner of the Pilot was the only victim to report items missing. She said $800 in cash, a Samsung laptop valued at about $1,000 and prescription medication worth about $1,580 were stolen, according to the report.
The damage to the Rogue and Pilot was estimated at $400 each. The damage to the Ram was estimated at $300, and the damage to the F-450 at about $500, the report said.
As of June 29, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jason Valentine said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
