The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of vandalism at Brennan Woods Elementary in High Ridge, one of six elementary schools in the Northwest R-1 School District.
Exterior walls and doors, and the roof were spray painted, causing an estimated $1,000 in damage.
The incident occurred between 11 p.m. Oct. 31 and 8 a.m. Nov. 2, the district reported.
Orange, purple and green paint were used to spray paint the initials “N.W.O.” and words “Wolf Gang” on the building, at 4630 Brennan Road, and on three dumpsters at the school, deputies reported,
The report described the graffiti as “anarchy signs.”
On Nov. 7, Sheriff’s Office Capt. Ron Arnhart said no arrests had been made and the incident remained under investigation.
