Arnold Police are investigating damage to two vacuum machines outside an Arnold gas station. It looked like someone tried to pry open the machines outside the Circle K gas station, 504 Jeffco Blvd., to get to the coin boxes inside, Arnold Police reported.
The damage was discovered at about 4 a.m. Feb. 3, but it is not known when the damage occurred because the company that owns the machines, CSC ServiceWorks, had not serviced the vacuums for about 60 days before that, the report said.
The attempt to get into the coin boxes was unsuccessful, but the damage to the machines was estimated $500, according to the report.
As of Feb. 9, no suspects had been identified, Cpl. Brett Ackermann said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
