A High Ridge teenager allegedly shot and killed a St. Louis teenager during an altercation in a St. Louis County apartment before going to a nearby field where he shot and killed himself, the St. Louis County Police reported.
A 16-year-old High Ridge boy and Teriq Lewis-Rushing, 18, of St. Louis were found dead on Monday, July 29, police said.
The High Ridge teen allegedly shot and killed Lewis-Rushing in an apartment at 9490 Olive Blvd., the report said.
Police were called at about 12:50 a.m. Monday about a shooting. When officers arrived, they heard a gunshot, and they later found the High Ridge teen in a field across the street from the apartment complex, according to the report.
St. Louis County Police reported a handgun was recovered next to the High Ridge teen.
Detectives were still investigating the incident as of today, July 30.
