Pevely Police are seeking a stolen SUV that had been left unlocked with the keys inside. A firearm also had been left in the maroon 2000 Ford Excursion, which was stolen from outside Orbital Energy Services, 1150 Mason Circle South, police reported.
The victim, a 27-year-old De Soto man, told investigators he parked his Excursion on the east side of the building at about 7 a.m. Feb. 12 and when he returned to the spot at about 9 a.m., it was gone, Pevely Police reported.
The Excursion was valued at $5,000, and the victim could not name the brand of the firearm, so police had no value for it.
As of Feb. 15, the SUV and gun had not been recovered. Anyone with information is asked to call Pevely Police at 636-475-5301.
