The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a 2012 Ford E-450 box truck from outside Express Lube, 1 Sugar Creek Center, in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton. A white sport bike was seen leaving with the stolen truck, police reported.
The Sheriff’s Office does not provide estimated values for stolen vehicles.
The truck, which belongs to U-Haul, was stolen at about 8:20 p.m. Nov. 20. It was parked between the oil change business and the car wash, the report said.
Before the truck was stolen, a white sport bike stopped next to it. The truck and sport bike left the business together, according to the report.
The person who drove the truck to the business had the keys, but it was not known if the doors were locked, the report said.
As of Nov. 22, the truck had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the theft should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
