Almost $3,000 worth of guns and accessories were stolen from a pickup parked on a commuter lot at East Fourth Street and Hwy. 109 in Eureka. The Ford F-350 pickup was broken into between about 5:50 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. July 21, Eureka Police reported.

The driver-side door lock was punctured, and the pickup’s ignition was damaged. An estimate to repair the damage was not provided, the report said.

A Sig Sauer AR pistol, a Glock 21 and other items were stolen from the pickup. The pistol, which was behind the driver-side back seat, was valued at $1,000, and the Glock, which was in the center console, was worth $547, according to the report.

Other stolen items included an EOTech scope worth $800, a Viridian Green Laser worth $400 and an SBA brace valued at $150. The total value of the stolen items was $2,997, the report said.

As of July 30, none of the stolen items had been recovered and no suspects had been identified, Capt. David Wilson said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
