Eureka Police are investigating damage to two golf carts that were removed from the maintenance building at The Legends Country Club in Eureka and then abandoned nearby. The incident happened overnight between Oct. 25 and 26, at the golf course, 625 The Legends Parkway, Lt. Michael Werges said.
One cart was found on Oct. 26 at the 23rd hole of the club’s nine-hole Ridge Course. The damage to that cart was estimated at $800, the report said.
On Oct. 27, the second cart was found in a wooded area near a creek off First Street and west of North Virginia Avenue. The windshield had been removed from the cart. Police did not have an estimate for the damage.
As of Nov. 6, no suspects had been identified, Werges said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
