A Cedar Hill woman was seriously injured Monday evening, July 24, in an accident on Dulin Creek Road north of Monica Lane just south of House Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5:58 p.m., Paul M. Barton, 56, of House Springs was driving north in a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze when the vehicle crossed the center line, striking the front of a southbound 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Dawn M. Walker, 43, the report said.
Walker was seriously injured and taken by Big River Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
According to the report, Barton was wearing a seat belt and Walker was not.
The Cavalier was totaled, and the Cruze was moderately damaged, the report said.
