The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two burglaries at the same home in the 3900 block of Carol Park Road in House Springs. The home was entered through the same bedroom window, which was shattered each time, police reported.

Members of a lawn maintenance crew reported the burglaries on Sept. 10, when the second incident occurred. The home was first broken into on Sept. 4, the report said.

A rear bedroom window was shattered at the home on Sept. 4, and a toilet and two register vents were stolen, according to the report.

On Sept. 10, the window that had been replaced was shattered again. No items were reported stolen from the home, but a mirror was moved from a bathroom and put in the basement, according to the report.

The Sheriff’s Office did not report the estimated cost to replace the broken window, and it did not report the approximate cost of the stolen items.

As of Sept. 16, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the burglaries to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
