A 32-inch television and a PlayStation 5 video game system and controller were stolen from a home on Blue Jay Drive in House Springs. The video game system and controller were worth about $570, and the TV was valued at about $200, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The burglary happened between about 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 29, when it appeared someone pried open a door to the home to get inside. A cost to repair the door was not provided, the report said.

A man wearing a ski mask allegedly was seen leaving the home just before the victim came home at about 8:30 p.m., according to the report.

As of Nov. 10, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
