A pickup recently was stolen from an auto dealership in the Arnold area and was later recovered in the city of St. Louis. At about 3:55 a.m. Sept. 11, the pickup was stolen from Dynamite Deal Auto Sales, 802 Butler Court, and four days later it was recovered in St. Louis, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The dealership’s owner told a deputy that a person entered his lot and removed the pickup, a red 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. It was valued at $9,500, the report said
On Sept. 15, the truck was recovered in St. Louis. As of Sept. 22, the Sheriff’s Office had not made any arrests in connection with the case, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.
He said he didn’t know if St. Louis Metropolitan Police had a suspect in the case. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
