A Festus-area manufacturing business recently reported someone stole a customer’s 24-foot black tandem trailer. The theft was reported just after 7 a.m. on Sept. 5, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The trailer was stolen from the business lot in the 3400 block of Hwy 67. The trailer was valued at about $1,000, the report said.
Cpl. Matthew Moore of the Sheriff’s Office said on Sept. 14 that the trailer had not been recovered and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
