Tools valued at nearly $5,000 recently were stolen from a vehicle parked at RLC Sales, a used auto dealership in the 6000 block of Sember Place in House Springs, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Between noon Dec. 6 and 8:30 a.m. Dec. 7, someone broke out a front vent window on the vehicle, unlocked the passenger door to get inside and then stole the tools, the report said.
Stolen tools included Snap-On brand driver, ratchet, socket and wrench sets; Craftsman brand socket and wrench sets; a Snap-On impact driver; a Snap-on modis scan tool; and axle-nut sockets, altogether valued at $4,987, according to the report.
As of Friday (Dec. 11), the stolen tools had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s.
