The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of tools from the back of a pickup parked in the driveway at a home in the 300 block of Kronos Drive in Olympian Village. The theft happened between 5:30 p.m. April 18 and 8 a.m. April 19, the report said.
The victim said several items were stolen from the bed of the pickup. Stolen items included a small metal toolbox containing miscellaneous tools; breaker bars and sockets; a backpack blower and a shaft trimmer, according to the report.
The tools were valued at $885. As of April 26, none of the stolen items had been recovered, Cpl. Matthew Moore said.
