Arnold Police are investigating a recent theft of tools from a work van parked at the Fox Chase Apartments. The theft happened between 4:15 p.m. May 21 and 8:10 a.m. May 23, according to Arnold Police.
The culprit forced open the passenger-side door to the Chevrolet work van, causing about $200 in damage to it, and then stole about $2,090 in tools. Both the van and tools belong to the Laclede Gas Co, the report said.
As of June 3, the tools had not been recovered, Arnold Police Detective Sgt. James Jones said. There were no suspects or arrests either. Anyone with information is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
