Sheriff's Office badge, new

A burglary at a home in the 3000 block of East Lakeview Drive in House Springs cost the victim $1,250 in tools. The burglary occurred between 5 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. May 10, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The victim said that when he returned home that day, he found it in disarray. He said a basement door had been left unlocked, the report said.

Stolen items included an impact driver; a cordless impact and drill set; a cordless drill; a cordless reciprocating saw; a corded reciprocating saw and a corded grinder. Sgt. Matthew Moore said May 24 that none of the stolen items had been recovered and no arrests had been made.
