Arnold Police are investigating the theft of tools worth about $6,185 from a garage attached to a house under construction in the 1900 block of Old Lemay Ferry Road. The assorted power tools belong to a 68-year-old Oakville man, police reported.
The tools were stolen between about 7:30 p.m. Sept. 26 and 7 a.m. Sept. 27. The victim said he had locked the tools in the garage, which had been completed, the report said.
However, there was no sign the garage was broken into. Other sections of the partially completed home were not damaged, according to the report.
As of Oct. 4, none of the stolen tools had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
