Chainsaws, lawn equipment and other items recently were stolen from Sunnyhill Adventures, 6555 Sunlit Way, in Dittmer, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Between 8 p.m. Feb. 28 and 6:45 a.m. Feb. 29, someone unlawfully entered the building through an open garage door and stole the items, the report said.
Stolen items included a large Stihl chainsaw, a small Stihl chainsaw, two Stihl leaf blowers, a Milwaukee drill and two battery chargers. In all, the items were valued at $1,620, according to the report.
As of March 11, the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Lt. Gary Higginbotham of the Sheriff’s Office.
