The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent theft from the Discount Muffler in the 4500 block of Gravois Road in House Springs.
At 9:58 a.m. Aug. 13, a white box truck pulled behind the business and someone took 20 large tires with rims and then left at 10:15 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office reported.
In all, the tires were valued at $3,000, the report said.
The theft reportedly was captured on surveillance footage, the report said.
As of Aug. 21, the tires had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
