Eureka Police are investigating the theft of 12 tires and a car battery from AutoTire Car Care, 85 Hilltop Village Center Drive, authorities reported.
The store’s manager reported the items were missing from the inventory, saying they disappeared between Dec. 23 and Dec. 26. The tires and battery are estimated to be worth $2,500, the report said.
Eureka Police interviewed a person of interest but made no arrest, and there were no suspects in the case as of Jan. 4, Capt. David Wilson said.
