Three teenagers recently were arrested following an alleged burglary in the 500 block of Hickory Manor in Arnold, Arnold Police report.

The 22-year-old Arnold man who reported that his home had been burglarized also was arrested, for alleged counterfeiting, Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman said.

At 11:16 p.m. Sept. 26, Arnold Police got a call about a suspicious vehicle on Hickory Manor, the report said

Officers found the vehicle parked near the home that reportedly had been burglarized and two teenagers – an 18-year-old Imperial male and a 16-year-old Fenton male – were inside. Officers also allegedly found marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle, so those two teens were arrested for alleged possession of drugs, Ruckman said.

Another teen, an 18-year-old Arnold male, allegedly had been with those two suspects and later turned himself him and was arrested for allegedly burglarizing the home, Ruckman said.

While officers investigated the reported burglary, they discovered that the victim allegedly had been counterfeiting $20 bills “in order to purchase drugs from the other subjects,” the report said.
