Festus Police got a call early April 29 about a suspicious vehicle in the Comfort Inn parking lot, 1303 Veterans Blvd. (Hwy. A), and ended up arresting three people for possession of methamphetamine. The incident occurred about 1:30 a.m., Chief Tim Lewis reported.
The three who were arrested included a 30-year-old woman from Blytheville, Ark., a 36-year-old woman from Holly Springs, Miss., and a 38-year-old man from Earle, Ark., Lewis said.
“We found one of the women passed out in a front seat (of a 2007 Chrysler Aspen),” he said. “The other two arrived at the vehicle. We found a large amount of meth, and they were arrested. We are pursuing charges.”
The three suspects were booked and released pending application for warrants, Lewis said.
