Three local residents were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident about 6:55 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 5) on Gravois Road south of Bush Road in Byrnes Mill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Samantha Palazzolo, 28, of House Springs was driving a 2010 Pontiac G6 north on Gravois and she crossed the center line and struck a southbound pickup head-on, the report said. Bradley Powell, 44, of Fenton was driving the pickup, a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado.
Palazzolo, Powell and a passenger in the pickup – Kelly Kennedy, 42, of Imperial – were seriously hurt and taken by ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where they were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said today (Sept. 6).
Palazzolo was not wearing a seat belt, and Kennedy and Powell were wearing them, the patrol reported. Both vehicles were totaled, the report said.
