Festus Police Patch

Between $600 and $700 in auto parts were stolen overnight Feb. 11 to Feb. 12 at Plaza Tire Service, 310 Festus Centre Drive, Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis says.

Employees called Festus Police at 8:45 a.m. Feb. 12 to report the theft, Lewis added.

The parts were stolen from a fenced-in area used for storage outside of the main building, he said.

“A Plaza Tire employee said a lock on a gate had been cut,” Lewis said.

Footage from a security camera shows someone driving up to the fenced area in a green SUV, he added.

Anyone with information is asked to call Festus Police at 636-931-3646.
