A home under construction in the 100 block of Southmoor Drive in unincorporated Fenton was burglarized, and a tankless water heater was stolen. The burglary occurred during the evening of Sept. 28 and was reported at 1:30 a.m. Sept. 29, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
It looked like the culprit pried open the front door and stole the water heater, which was valued at $1,000. As of Oct. 9, the water heater had not been recovered, Sgt. Matthew Moore said.
He said there were no arrests either. Anyone with information is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau at 636-797-5515.
