Items were stolen from a vehicle parked outside a home in the 200 block of Donnell Drive in Barnhart, and it looked like someone got into a second vehicle parked there, but nothing was stolen from it. Both vehicles were unlocked, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The incident happened between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Sept. 13, when someone illegally entered the vehicles and stole $20 in cash, two prescription pill bottles, an iPhone charging cord, sunglasses, a vehicle ignition key, a Damsel in Defense stun gun, pepper spray and numerous flares.
The items were valued at $400, the report said.
Sgt. Matthew Moore said Oct. 5 that none of the stolen items had been recovered and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
