Arnold Police are trying to identify two women who allegedly stole a stove on display at Lowe’s, 920 Arnold Commons Drive. The stove is worth $1,499, police reported.
The theft was reported Jan. 26, but the incident happened at about 12:45 p.m. Jan. 14, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
He said store employees reported that the women were seen on surveillance video loading the stove onto a flatbed cart. The women then left the store through the lumber department, loaded the stove into a blue Chevrolet pickup and drove away, the report said.
As of Feb. 1, the stove had not been recovered, and the women had not been identified, Christopher said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
