A sound system, computer printer, vacuum and other items recently were stolen from Zion United Methodist Church, 100 Beckett St., in the Mapaville area, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Between noon Nov. 8 and 3:25 p.m. Nov. 10, someone unlawfully entered the church through a basement door and stole the items, the report said.

Other items stolen included a dehumidifier and a jar filled with about $35 in cash, according to the report.
