A bullet struck and damaged the front window of a home in the 15200 block of Hwy. T south of Festus, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim told investigators that at about 7 p.m. May 27 she saw someone driving a silver SUV pull into her driveway and then fire a single shot from inside the SUV. The person then drove east on Hwy. T, the report said.
The bullet damaged a front window on the home. The damage was estimated at about $100, according to the report.
It is not known why someone would shoot at the woman’s home, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.
Earlier this month, he said no suspects had been identified. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
