The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent burglary at an apartment in the 3900 block of Old Hwy. M in Imperial.
Between noon Dec. 5 and 9 p.m. Dec. 11, someone forced open the front door to the apartment and stole about $2,750 in items, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
Stolen items included a Samsung 55-inch TV, a surround-sound system, a glass jar filled with about $100 in change, and a pair of silver and diamond hoop earrings, the report said.
As of Dec. 18, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
