Sunglasses and other items recently were stolen from the Sugar Creek Golf Course pro shop in the 5200 block of Country Club Drive in High Ridge, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
At 4:19 a.m. Jan. 22, someone broke a window at the front of the pro shop to get inside and then stole seven pairs of sunglasses, a sunglass display rack and a white “Ping” baseball bat.
The damage to the window and stolen items were valued at $420, the report said.
The theft was captured by security cameras, and surveillance footage showed someone wearing a dark ski mask and gloves inside the building.
In addition, the culprit appeared to have used a pry bar during the burglary, according to the report.
None of the stolen items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests as of Monday (Jan. 26), said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
