The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about an attempted theft of two golf carts from House Springs Golf Course, 5791 Dulin Creek Road, in House Springs.
At 3:53 a.m. Jan. 5, the Sheriff’s Office got a call from someone who reported that a dually pickup with a trailer attached to it was parked on Dulin Creek Road with two golf carts sitting in the road behind the trailer, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
When deputies arrived on the scene, the two golf carts were found abandoned on Dulin Creek Road, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The ignition control panel was damaged on both carts, but the Sheriff’s Office had no estimate for the damage, the report said.
Deputies located footprints and tire tracks in the snow from the Hole No. 3 tee box at the golf course to Dulin Creek Road.
The golf carts were returned to the golf course, according to the report.
No arrests had been made as of Jan. 9, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
