The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating thefts from mobile homes for sale at Metro Homes, 3505 Hwy. 67, near Olympian Village. The thefts occurred between 3:15 p.m. Sept. 7 and 8 a.m. Sept. 9, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
According to the reporting party, when he arrived for work he noticed someone had broken into two display mobile homes. Stolen items included two rolls of vinyl, two rolls of carpet and a window air-conditioning unit. The stolen items were valued at $1,500, the report said.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said Sept. 16 that none of the stolen items had been recovered and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
