The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in at a mobile home in the 5800 block of Maple Springs Court in House Springs where several firearms were stolen. The incident occurred between 11:20 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. April 21, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
It looked like the culprit forced open a rear door to get inside the home. Seven pistols and rifles and accessories for the guns were stolen. The stolen items were valued at $2,500, the report said.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said May 8 that none of the stolen items had been recovered. However, a suspect had been identified, although no arrests had been made, Bissell added.
