Items worth about $3,900 were stolen from a vacant commercial property in the 4000 block of Old Hwy. 21 in the Shady Valley area. The burglary was at the former Lambrich Live Fish Co. and occurred between March 21 and March 28, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
It looked like the culprit pried open a lock on a door to get inside a recreational vehicle that’s used for storage and then stole items. Stolen items included copper wiring, an air compressor, a generator and an RV battery, the report said.
On March 30, Cpl. Matthew Moore said none of the stolen items had been recovered and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
