The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a recent burglary at a home in the 3000 block of West Four Ridge Road in House Springs. The burglary happened between 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13, a report said.
It appeared the burglar got inside the home through a rear sliding glass door. About $6,560 in jewelry was stolen, according to the report.
The victim told deputies that when she returned home, she found her jewelry case empty and placed on her bed, her dresser drawers pulled open and doors to other rooms open with the lights on in the rooms. Stolen items included diamond and gold pendants; miscellaneous gold rings; 25 to 30 gold earrings of various styles; and a silver and gold necklace, the report said.
As of Feb. 23, none of the stolen items had been recovered and no arrests had been made, Cpl. Matthew Moore said. He asks anyone with information about the burglary to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
