A home on Highview Drive in Imperial recently was burglarized. The burglary happened between 12:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Jan. 14, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
It looked like someone forced entry through a basement door to get inside the home and then stole several items. Among the stolen items was a red moped, an iPhone 6, an iPhone 6 Plus and a Samsung Galaxy S5 cell phone. Altogether, the items were estimated to be worth $200 to $300, the report said.
As of today (Jan. 23), none of the stolen items had been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Capt. Gary Higginbotham said. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line at 636-797-5515.
